Dani is a self-taught photographer from the foothills of New York’s Catskill Mountains. Beginning her photographic journey at 13 with an iPod touch, she’s developed a practice rooted in curiosity, storytelling, and a deep connection to place by capturing the cast of characters and young artists in her hometown of a few hundred people.

Now based in New York City, Dani's personal work remains deeply connected to her rural origins, exploring themes of noir wildlife and bringing along her experiences of small-town intimacy and community to an urban environment. Alongside her portrait work, she collaborates with musicians, clothing brands, restaurants, and burlesque artists to create vivid promotional and editorial imagery.

Her clients include Vogue.com, A24 Music, Valentino, D la Repubblica, Diane von Furstenberg, and The New Yorker.com.
